The high-precision, fully automated adiabatic calorimeter developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, recently passed the achievement appraisal organized by the CAS. This instrument provides accurate thermodynamic data for new materials research and will play an important role in future thermochemical studies.
This instrument is equipped with an expert intelligent temperature-control system, featuring advanced calorimetric technologies such as multi-layer thermal insulation shielding, high-vacuum composite technology, programmable constant-current source for smooth heating, and multi-point detection using multiple thermocouples. It is also outfitted with state-of-the-art temperature control and measurement instruments of the highest precision available today, enabling highly accurate adiabatic control and exceptionally precise heat-capacity measurements. When compared with internationally recognized standard data, its accuracy reaches ±0.1%. All technical indicators meet or exceed international advanced standards, and its key technical indicator—the accuracy of heat-capacity measurements—has reached an internationally leading level.
