The broad definition of a PP reactor refers to a vessel equipped with a stirring impeller—either physical or chemical—that facilitates mixing and accelerates chemical reactions. Under the action of the stirring impeller, the reaction solution and solid reactants are thoroughly mixed and reacted within the reactor. Typically, a rotating shaft is vertically installed inside the reactor vessel, and stirring blades are mounted on this shaft to agitate the reactants and promote the reaction. However, if the rotation speed of the shaft is too high or the rotation time is prolonged, the shaft may easily swing from side to side, potentially damaging the motor and other components. Moreover, conventional stirring blades often exhibit uneven distribution. So, let’s now take a closer look at the technical implementation methods for PP reactors!

Key elements for the implementation of the PP reactor technology:
The purpose of the PP reactor is to address the issues raised in the aforementioned background technology and provide a polypropylene reactor.
The PP reactor comprises, from top to bottom in sequence, a mirror port, a feed port, a reducer, and a manhole reactor cover. On both sides at the bottom, there are snap rings. A drive motor is mounted at the middle position on the upper part of the reducer housing. A rotating shaft is connected to the output end of the drive motor; this rotating shaft extends into the reactor interior, where it engages with a locking mechanism and a locking plate. Symmetrically positioned hanging lugs are installed at the middle of each side of the reactor. A sleeve is located at the middle of the reactor’s bottom, and inside the sleeve, a discharge pipe is fitted. On both sides inside the discharge pipe, symmetrically arranged spring clips are provided. On the side of the spring clips facing each other, at the bottom inside the discharge pipe, a filter is installed. At the top inner side of the reactor, there is a conical support plate. On the outer top sides of the rotating shaft, supporting rods are attached. In the middle portion of the outer surface of the rotating shaft, stirring blades are mounted. At the bottom outer surface of the rotating shaft, a second set of stirring blades is installed. At the bottom of the rotating shaft, a stirring rod is fixed; on both sides of the top of this stirring rod, connecting rods are symmetrically arranged. The connecting rods pass through the interior of the stirring rod from bottom to top. At the bottom of these two connecting rods, arc-shaped scrapers are fitted. Finally, springs are attached to the outer top surfaces of these two connecting rods.
The PP reactor is equipped with a stopper at the top of the connecting rod, which is larger in diameter than the spring. A groove is provided at the middle position on the top of the conical support plate. The slider is bent to fit into this groove. The discharge pipe is nested inside the sleeve, and through-holes are located at the middle positions on both sides of the discharge pipe.
Compared with existing technologies, the beneficial effects of this utility model’s polypropylene reactor are as follows: The reactor can precisely limit the rotation axis through the coordinated interaction among the support rods, sliders, conical support plates, and grooves. Even at high rotational speeds or prolonged operation times, the rotation axis will remain stable without any lateral晃动. Moreover, the coordinated action among the arc-shaped blades, springs, and connecting rods effectively cleans the residual materials adhering to the lower interior of the reactor, preventing solid residues from contaminating subsequent reactions. Additionally, the cooperation among the second spring in the sheath spring clip, the filter, and the discharge pipe enables the removal of scraped-off solids.
The PP reactor is characterized by having, at the upper part, sequentially arranged a mirror port, a feed inlet, a reducer, and a manhole reactor. At both sides of the bottom, it is equipped with snap rings. In the middle of the upper part, there is a drive motor, and at the output end of the drive motor, there is a rotating shaft that extends into the interior of the reactor. This utility model device, through the coordinated interaction among support rods, sliders, conical support plates, and grooves, provides limiting guidance for the rotating shaft, ensuring that even when the rotational speed increases or the rotation time is extended, the shaft will not swing side-to-side. This protects the motor and all components from abnormal operation. Additionally, the device prevents contamination of the next reaction step; it filters out solid particles, collects discarded solids, and thereby avoids environmental pollution.
