After reaching the required temperature, close the steam valve and power supply, and close the mixer after 2-3 minutes. The steps for installing pp reactor with mechanical seal are as follows.
1) First, check the sealing quality of the reactor (whether there are scratches and other marks on the end faces of the moving and stationary rings).
2) Wipe the O-ring of the movable ring and the foreign matters on the surface of the movable and stationary rings with a clean soft cloth, and apply a small amount of lubricating oil on the surface according to the use requirements of the medium in the reaction tank.
3) Use a level gauge and a dial indicator to adjust the levelness of the mechanical seal stationary ring and the verticality of the seal section of the mixing shaft, and modify it to the specified requirements.
4) Install and fix the mechanical seal base and fixed ring to make the mechanical seal spring evenly stressed, adjust the hexagon set screw in the fixed ring on the mixing shaft, ensure that the dynamic and static end faces of the mechanical seal are tightly combined, and complete the final assembly and commissioning.
5) When the balance tank is installed on the rack as required, connect the inlet and outlet of sealing fluid and the pipeline of mechanical seal, connect the nitrogen cylinder, pressure reducer and balance tank pipeline. After the test static pressure meets the requirements, connect the water jacket and wait for the test run of the whole machine through cooling water.
6) When the temperature of the medium in the pp reactor is below 80, the cooling tank is filled with oil for cooling. The form of oil filling does not affect the quality of the materials in the tank. Generally, it requires high gasification heat, clean, less impurities, and good lubrication function. When the medium temperature is higher than 80, the bottom cooling water jacket and cooling tank are cooled by circulating water.
